[Armored Yokai]

I think both the Cataphract and Jaegermech are beyond the most used mech.

Jager probably, i usually see 1-3 of those every game, might be subjective of me because i dislike AC40 builds and so they stick out more for me, but yeah i think jagers + Jumpmechs capable of fitting ac/ppc meta are the most played.

I would have to agree.

And on the other side I would say the least seen mechs are the non hero/ecm commandos and the 2x Raven, oh and quickdraws.

I see lots of Jagermechs and Catapults (mostly K2's), but there's always at least one Jenner and/or Spider.

Happy to not be part of them, I owned a jag once the A model with the missile pods but sold it and have never owned a phract at all.

My own mech bay looks like this:

Lights: 6 (Used to have a Jenner F, never finished the basics so I sold it)
Mediums: 14 (Well, I did once have an alt account with 3 Trebuchets, but I haven't touched that account for a looong time)
Heavies: 6 (Tried an Orion recently, but I sucked hardcore with the mech so I sold it)
Assaults: 10

I do own several of both - with the JM6-A being my current favorite heavy.
(Very non-meta loadout though)

Lights: 10 (need 2 more for masteries though)
Med: 17
Heavy: 13
Assault: 8 (need 2 more for masteries - like the lights)


Would have a lot less heavies - but I just bought some Dragons and the Protector
Used to have more lights - but sold off most of my Commando and Jenner (so +5 more if I rebuy those)


As for the 'Phract and Jager' being the most popular - they seem to offer the (current) best balance of Firepower/Speed/Armor

Get much lighter, and you lose to much armor for people's comfort - get much heavier, and you move to slow/get "worse" hitboxes.

(IE Dragon/Quickdraw on one side, Orion on the other)


Surprised it wouldn't be the Highlander/Victor though - with has massive as those two's reputations have been
(even AFTER the nerfs)

If this was the least played thread I'd have a bunch that would be tied, but since it's most, before I even read the last post I would have said hands down, the CTF. Ilya, the jump jet or the 4 ballistic variants in particular (I do not run them so I don't care which is which, I generally just see an HVT whenever I see one of them due to the fact they're pretty much THE meta mechs right now, next to say an AC40 jager).

dont see victors as much anymore since the nerf.

definitely cataphract or jager overall. for assaults the atlas is probably the most common.

Jagers hands down, 2-5 in every game. Victors are very popular, and so are Cataphracts. While they have some pros compared to the Jagers, Jagers have high mounted weapons and tons of ballistics, which is pretty much all you can do to be dangerous in this game.

I currently have 7 jaegers with different built i even got a jaeger designed to hunt lights the only flaw i've seen on the jaegers is that the cockpit is positioned at the center of the body and it has an unwanted antennae hanging at its top, they should get rid of the antennae and then place the cockpit at the top most like the blackjack then i would be satisfied with the design. it's not so easy targeting or shooting with ballistics but i get the hang of it sometimes.

For me i have:

1 Light: a Locust 1M

1 Medium: a champion Centurion

3 Heavy's: a Dragon 1N(Maxed) a Catapult K2(Maxed) and a Thunderbolt(The free one from the competition)

1 Assault: an Atlas D

On the assault front I still see Victors quite often, certainly more than Highlanders. But the most common assault seems to be the Stalker to me, they are basically in every match. Atlases are also common but certainly not as much as the Stalkers.

For heavies, Jägers and Prhacts hands down.

Medium the Shawk still seems to be king. Though you see lots of Cicadas running with the lights as well.

And light, Spides and Jenners.

Jaegers and Victors for heavies and assaults.
Shawks for meds
Jenners for lights, with the ecm spider running a not so distant 2nd, followed by the ember. I don't seem to see the other Firestarters much though.
